Albinoni Adagio for Strings and Organ - Charles Groves conducts - видео

This famous Adagio in G minor purportedly by Tomaso Albinoni but usually attributed to musicologist Remo Giazotto is here splendidly played by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra under Charles Groves and comes from a 1968 Studio Two Stereo LP entitled Reverie. The violin solo is played by Clifford Knowles and the organ by Caleb Jarvis. Groves became Sir Charles in 1973.,
