Nigella Damscena seed pods - видео

Fantastic large seed capsule pods used dry in floral arrangements. The pod keeps the seeds until the winds break away the silver pod walls. They rattle with seeds in the breeze. Commonly known as Love-in-a-Mist a plant from North Africa and Southern Mediterranean typically at home in Syria hence the name Damascena.  Edible black seeds can be used as spice. This patch were all white with just a few blue. They started from blue variety seeds but I think they revert to white when left to themselve...
