This video shows step by step how to replace a bad LCD screen on your CTX 3030 metal detector. Minelab charges around 300 to do this on a detector thats out of warranty. Total cost is about 40 if you do it yourself. The repair is fairly straight forward. The machine will remain waterproof as long as the red seal inside the display is in good shape.
